I've Moved!

So finally after talking about it for soo long, well since before last christmas anyway, we have finally moved to Gloucester.

It was extremely stressful, Martin was offerred the job at the beginning of July and we moved on the 2nd August. However we also had to paint and re-carpet our house in Norfolk as this needs to be rented out and sort out a place to live (renting) in Gloucester. However we did it and I am loving living here. It is so different from Norfolka nd it only takes me 5 mins to walk into the city centre. Poor Ruby my car hasn't moved for days now, which is great on the environment and also saves on the petrol spending.

Not only that but I also now have an office of sorts for my business, so The Little Black Cauldron now has a HQ!!

The move day itself was hard, I left Norfolk at 6am to get to the Letting Agents by 10am to pick up the keys. Then the removal men got to the old house at 8am to load up. The problem was that they were racist towards Martin (He is British Chinese) and so that wound him up totally, anyway Martin got to Gloucester about 2pmish and then we had to wait around for the removal men who got here at 5pm!!!!! Then they told me to shut up and get out of the way so they could do their job, and also if they had loaded up at 3am they could be at home by now, as if we wasn't paying them a load of money to do the job!!

It really infuriates me that people can be like that, but never mind we are now all settledish, still got loads to unpack but I am now concentrating on finding a job asap!

Neglecting my duties

I have been neglecting my duties as a blogger,I'm sorry!

What a mad couple of months or even weeks. After our visit to Cheltenham at the beginning of July we now find ourselves moving to Gloucester. So our days are consisting of packing our house up here in Norfolk and trying to rent it out, then move to start our new lives in Gloucester on the 2nd August.

Very mad times!!

I am also trying to design a new website to compliment The Little Black Cauldron. The main website is still being re-done and has taken 15 weeks so far!!! I am shocked, what happened to my promise of 5-6 weeks.

Anyway I must dash got to pack a box :0)

So here I am sitting at my desk on my luch break looking on the internet.

I thought i would do a google search for spells and see what it came up with.

And I found a website (I won't list it here, you can do your own search) :0) That said she was the Queen of UK Witche. Is that correct?

A better Day

After having a rubbish day yesterday, I am today feeling a lot better about everything.

I woke to find an email in my inbox from a friend who said she had found an article about my site on someones blog. After a quick read I was amazed that someone had taken the time out of their life to write about my site and my Tarot Readings!!

It's is such a nice post that I have added a link here for you all to have a read and let me know what your thoughts are:

The blog is about finding love and the perils of the dating world, and they also run an online dating site for Rural UK.

Now as I am happily engaged to someone I have no need to use a dating site but if any of you out there are looking for Love or friendship then I advise having a look as it seems to be a very good site.

I am still just so shocked about the review and hope that this will now be the up-turn in my business that I soo needed.

I Give Up

I have spent the last couple of days adding new stuff to my website but today I've just given up.

The only person who is making any sort of money out of my website is my supplier they just keep upping their prices without advising me so when I go to place an order I am making a pittance on a sale.

I'm soo stressed and tired and broke that I'm thinking of just giving in and closing the site and not bothering at all.

Not sure what happened with my previous post, I'm sure it looked ok when it was originally posted. Very weird.

I'm currently participating in the "who's Tv is louder" race between me and my neighbour. It is soo frustrating I'm not sure why people have it on so loud, more often than not I have my TV muted as I can hear next doors perfectly. I wonder if it will ever end.

If you have read the comments on the previous post you will find some questions and answears about putting spells/hexes on people. Whilst some people may do this I do not. I beleive that everything does come back to you threefold and after all the bad luck I have had in my life so far I am not willing to risk it.

I have recently partaken in a Better Business Spell and amazingly it definatly worked, now I just need to keep the momentum up and concentrate more on developing my website.

I have been toying with the idea of a forum so that people can discuss different aspects of Witchcraft. I know there is a lot of these forums out there but when I have visited them I have found that they are a bit scary and I daren't post anything through fear of being pounced on and ripped to shreds!!!

What do you think is it a good idea? I know it will be hard work but it could tie in nicely with my online shop as well.

Anyway I'm off to bed, that is if the noise stops!!!

Another day another problem.

For those of you that are interested my website is it's is a work in constant progress

I have got all my meta tags and keywords sorted for the site, now I am just looking for websites to link to my site.

I'm sitting here typing with newly painted nails and praying that I don't dent them. I don't generally get all girly but decided it was about time to start looking after my appearance

Well I am now without my mobile for up to 28 days and I feel totally lost without it. I've spent nearly an hour on the phone to someone in India trying to get them to swap my faulty phone for a new one, but it seems that isn't their policy!!! :(" class="middle" border="0"> So I have to wait untill it's fixed which as they said could take up to 28 days, and they cannot offer me a loan phone but also expect me to still pay my monthly payment!!! How does that work??????

It wouldn't be that bad if I didn't use the phone for my business and for contacting friends and family. So thats a loss in revenue and all means of contacting anyone in an emergency gone, Great!!! I have tried to put my sim in another phone but surprise surprise it doesn't work. I am completely annoyed now :(" class="middle" border="0"> and in major need of chocolate

What an exciting day.

After spending the last week thinking is it really worth spending all my time on my online shop I was starting to have doubts about it's success.
I have been spending loads of money getting the site up and running and advertising it but I just hadn't been receiving enough orders.

Two days ago I pulled the plug on the paid for advertising and had just sat back and not done anything on my site.

So then today I logged on to find that I had an order of nearly £500!!! Shocked most definatly!!

So that has given me a boost and I shall be adding more products to my site and also adding more links.

Wow what an excellent night and I'm so happy, now just need one of those each week

Different Types of Witches

Here is a list of different types of Witches that you may come accross. Please note that these descriptions are my thoughts and you may add a comment if you wish.

Hedgewitches

We follow a more nature based path and our rituals are often less formal tahn those of the Gardnerians or Alexandrians. Our magic is often strongly connected with the use of herbs and plants and more often than not takes place in the open or in a kitchen.

Gardnerians

This is the tradition taught by Gerald Gardner and his initiates, largely as it was passed on from his original coven. It does include a lot of formalised rituals. To become a Gardnerian Witch you ahve to be initiated by a Gardnerian or by one who is recognised by Gardnerian Witches.

Alexandrians

Less formalised than Gardnerians. Its rituals can be adapted to suit people in many circumstances and it is a more open and free form religion.

Hereditaries

Hereditary Wicthes are those whose craft is passed down through their family.

Traditionals

These Witches are those whose learning and practice cannot be easily traced through either family or coven practice. Many people say that they are re-incarnated Witches.

Solitaries

A term for those who worship or practice alone.

Why is it that when you tell people you are a Witch they always ask you if you can do spells.

My religion isn't like that, I am a Hedgewitch.

What is a Hedgewitch?

Well my view on it is that it is a person that celebrates nature and tries to live their life respecting and nurturing the area around them. For me it means that I respect the earth and try to live my life by not abusing what we have been given. I'm not one of those people who shoves their religion down people's throat but then again I am also not someone who is afraid to tell people what I beleive.

I have recently received emails stating that I have sold my soul to the devil and that I will go to hell. Do these people realise what they are saying, that these things can hurt and upset people. It annoys me that these people are happy enough to tell me these things but they don't know anything about my religion and beliefs.

So the aim of my Blog is to educate people about Witchcraft and hopefully change peoples perspective of this religion.
